I'll Tell You

Tang Wan stood beside Li Zheng as she gazed at the frail woman on the bed. Her gaze was unreadable and she had a blank expression on her face. However, anyone who paid attention would see that her face was white with fear.

Tang Wan had panicked earlier. She hadn't expected her to suddenly jump and she couldn't react immediately.

The scene replayed in her mind countless times like slow motion in a sci-fi movie. She felt an impending fear. And regret.

She didn't know her words would push her to jump. Otherwise, she wouldn't have tried to persuade her. She felt regret for pressuring her.

Thankfully, she didn't die and the jumper net stopped her from falling face down. However, she sustained some severe injuries.

Li Zheng glanced at Tang Wan and when he saw the ashen look on her face. He couldn't help but shake his head. None of them had expected it either.
