It was silent afterward. The atmosphere was also tense and no one spoke for a moment. 

But, it wasn't for long. After all, they were all men who had witnessed all sorts of vicissitudes of life. 

Such a small interlude wouldn't cause a ripple between them.

One of the men laughed slightly, trying to ease the stiff atmosphere. He looked at Luo Zhengying and muttered, 

"Old Yin has always a bad temper. Old Luo, do not take it to heart."

"Yes Old Luo, that man has always been eccentric."

Tang Wan looked at her mentor. His expression was dark and it was not hard to tell that he was dissatisfied.

But no matter how displeased he was, he had to give his friends some face since they had tried to ease the situation.

He shook his head calmly, restraining his anger, and replied, "I know."

Then, he turned to Tang Wan.

"Go socialize. I'll be here."

Tang Wan looked at him for a moment before nodding. "Alright."
