Chapter 2 Ancient Gods

An elder man next to Naguza suddenly stopped and shouted as if he had thought of something terrible.

When the others heard his words, they all stopped and their faces became serious.

The Westley tribe was a tribe that believed in gods, and this valley, known as the divine tribulation, was the place where the Lord of true gods had died and his soul had rested.

Once any other creature entered the forbidden area to disturb the gods, they basically could not return.

In the past, the ancestors of the savage hills tribe in the north had once wanted to conquer this place and make the power within it work for themselves. He had gone all out and sent nearly 100000 elite soldiers into the divine tribulation. In the end, all of them had died, and no one had survived.

It was precise because of this that the strong youth of the savage hills tribe suffered a great loss. In the end, they were swallowed up by the Jevinif tribe in the east and disappeared.

The divine tribulation was so terrifying.

Naguza was also very clear in his heart about what it meant to enter the divine tribulation. There was a flash of worry and fear in his eyes, but in the end, he slowly became firm.

"No, we have to keep running! The Jevinif tribe has already obtained the support of the orcs. They are riding horned bulls. It's only a matter of time before they catch up with us. If we stop or take a detour, we will only be surrounded faster by them. In that case, we will still die!"

Naguza's face showed a sad and hateful expression. "Those guys started a war and now they are chasing after us. They just want to get the ultimate treasure of Westley tribe, the Eternal Golden Eye!"

Clenching his fists, Naguza looked at everyone, clenched his teeth, and continued, "Warriors of Westley tribe, I will never forget how my father was hacked to death in order to protect our tribe. So even if I die, I will never let those beasts get the Eternal Golden Eye!"

Then, Naguza took out a key-like pendant from his chest. He closed his eyes, held the pendant tightly with one hand, and pressed it between his forefinger and middle finger on his forehead. "God bless Westley tribe to survive this disaster."

The group of people surrounding Naguza were strong young men carefully selected by the tribe leader. The words of Naguza aroused everyone's anger, and their hearts were filled with passion.

"God bless us! I swear I will follow Lord Naguza to death!" A guard knelt, made a gesture of prayer like Naguza, and shouted.

The relatives of warriors were more or less killed in this war. The deep-rooted hatred of the Westley tribe couldn't be forgotten, and the other guards also knelt and said in unison, "God bless us! I swear to follow Lord Naguza to death!"

When Naguza was about to lead everyone forward, the whole world suddenly became dark and violent.

Naguza struggled to raise his head and looked up at the sky, only to see a huge black shadow falling from the sky.

The next second, the earth shook and the mountains shook, creating huge cracks on the ground. The sea water poured back, and the hard cave collapsed with a loud bang. The towering tree instantly turned into dust.

Naguza was dizzy and his legs were numb.

When he came to his senses, he found that a long and narrow mountain suddenly appeared on the broad road. He looked around in shock, but he couldn't see the end of the mountain at all.

The only way to survive was blocked. Naguza lowered its head and sighed deeply, like a deflated balloon in an instant.

He didn't know what had happened, nor did he know why such a huge change had suddenly occurred. Why could a huge mountain appear out of nowhere? Was it because what he had just said irritated the sleeping soul of the God? Was the Westley tribe doomed to perish today?

But in fact, the black shadow that fell from the sky was no other than Kevin who was sucked into the ring by the white light!

Kevin didn't experience the pain of death as he had imagined. Instead, he felt that his whole body was wrapped by gentle energy. He felt as if he had fallen on the ground. Kevin opened his eyes curiously.

He found himself lying on the ground. The vigilance of being chased by the black cat had not disappeared, and Kevin immediately stood up.

"Well... Lord Naguza... Look! The mountain in front of us... It... It moved itself!" A guard suddenly shouted. His fingers trembled as he pointed forward, a look of horror on his face.

"The mountain moved? How could it be possible? Are you scared to death?" The commander of the guards beside Naguza couldn't help but scold. He thought it was impossible.

However, he still looked in the direction pointed by the guard. The huge mountain that had appeared out of nowhere not only moved, but also stood up straight!

"What... What's going on?" The strong fear from the bottom of his heart spread all over his body in an instant. The so-called most valiant commander of the guards was so shocked by the scene in front of him that he could not speak, and his whole body began to tremble involuntarily.

At this time, Naguza also raised his head and saw this terrifying scene. It was not a giant mountain that had appeared out of nowhere. Now, it seemed that it was a giant's arm that had blocked their way!

This was a real giant!

There were no words in Naguza's mind that could describe it. It was not a simple few thousand feet or even tens of thousands of feet, but a giant that was over ten thousand feet tall!

Even the highest mountain range and the farthest star in their lives were not as high as the giant in front of them!

They were like the humblest ants in front of this giant. Each of his fingers was several times larger than them. Naguza believed that as long as the other party was willing to, he could easily crush all of them to death.

They couldn't even see clearly how tall the giant in front of them was, because when the giant stood up, the upper part of his body was completely above the clouds. When they tried their best to look, they could only see the half waist of the giant.

"What kind of monster is this? How could it be so huge?" A young guard couldn't help but scream.

"I don't know. I have lived in this world for more than half of my life, but I have never seen such a huge monster!"

At this time, Naguza suddenly felt the pendant on his chest floating out of his arms and emitting a gentle light in the direction of the giant. This was a sign that God did not mean to harm him.

"No, it's not a monster. It's a God from the sky. It's an ancient god sent by God to save our Westley tribe!"

"Yes, Lord Naguza is right. This is the place where the gods died. I'm afraid this is the ancient god who has woken up from the divine tribulation!"
