Ashely

"Why are you both quiet? Is something going on?"Elena asked as she shut the door. I tilted my head to the side as I sucked in a breath.

"It's nothing...

"Nothing," I heard Emily say as she let out a mocking laugh, "You lied to me and it's nothing to you. "

"What the heck is going on?" Elena asked as she dropped her bag.

I mashed my lips together as I bent my head, a low sigh escaping my lips.

"She lied to my face, Elena, " Emily started as her gaze darted toward the sofa, "She knew I liked him and yet, she had the nerve to fuck him. You have been lying to me. Why didn't you tell me anything when I told you I liked him? You stringed me along like a fool. I was lucky to have seen you yesterday and understand why you waited at the bakery yesterday and also the bite mark on your neck."

"What? Ashely, what. Why would you do that?" I heard my sister say as I struggled to gather my voice and strength.
