Determination To Find Them

"Who are you calling a pervert!" a cold face that they have not seen before glared at them with such a cruel look as if he wanted to kill them then and there.

"What? Are you thinking of apologizing now?" he muttered while gnashing his teeth.

He could not believe that this young man (Olivia) was enough to fume him whenever he (Olivia) wanted.

"This voice!" Olivia stared hard at the man who was grumbling when she noticed the bandages on his body and her eyes widened. Though she had not seen the face of that man clearly due to mud and the concealer he was using, she was sure it was him.

"Pardon! You are the one who dragged us here without any rhyme or reason. If you are not a pervert then who are you?" Though confused, why her sister truend silent suddenly, Ophelia decided to take the matter in her hands and shouted loudly.

The trick was to show others that they were getting taken away because of her beauty and then run away whenever they got a chance so that no one would take them as a criminal but a victim and a few righteous men would help them later.

"Why don't you ask your husband! He knows me.'' Finally Alex felt at ease, an itching feeling that was clawing his heart was finally gone when he stared at her shocked face.

His lips curved upwards as he moved his fingers and signaled him (Olivia) to come in who pursued her lips but did not move closer. She continued to stand there as she knew each step towards him would bring her closer to her death.

She had known that he was a rich man and must be a noble but she had never thought that he held such power.

If he had so many knights working under him then why in the world was he dying alone in a forest!

Her lips tilted upwards, that was a smirk and at the same time it was not that surprising the man who was waiting for her to fall on her knees and beg for their life.

"Oh my! Aren't you the man whom I have saved in the woods? I am glad that you have recovered well.

The giberneshia herb always did wonders. See, after losing so much blood, you recovering in only 4 days!" with a gloating smile plastered on her face, she patted her own thighs as she raised a brow challengingly.

Since she had already announced that she was his benefactor he could not hurt her. If he would still beat her or take her away forcefully then he would lose his credibility. And if he would tell that they have taken a stone or two then he would only embarrass himself for being miser since he was valuing stones more than his life.

But why did he come to search for them? Hasn't he accepted that he would give all of the stones in reward to her.

"Yes, and I am here to invite you for a meal, my BENEFACTOR!" finally realizing who he was, Ophelia pulled her sister back as if trying to hide her. She had told her that they should not take the jewels of an unknown man but she did not listen to her!

But how did he find them? They have not sold a single stone or spent it. Then how.. Wait!

"Are the knights who were looking for us all over the town yours?" Come to think of it, they were the knights who were asking about them.

Then did it mean that Stefan had stopped looking for them? Her eyes filled with joy and she could not hold her laughter confusing everyone specially Alex who tilted his head and nodded.

"But why are you so happy about it?'' The smile on her face froze and her body turned stiff but then she blinked, her eyes shaky and lowered her head.

"A handsome man like you would come and search for me. Isn't this reason enough to be happy?" Ophelia who took the hint frowned and glared at her sister,

"Are you flirting with a man again? Is that why he is here!" her hands reached her hips as her face filled with hostility when she turned to glare at Alex,

"I do not know what happened between both of you but he is my husband. Even if you are interested in men, you should look for single ones. This one is booked for me!`` With that, she held Olivia's collar and started dragging her.

She gave a cold glance to the knights who were still standing in their way and passed between them.

"Go and catch them but this time do things discreetly. They are too good at attracting attention." the knight nodded his head as he retreated silently from there.

Ophelia, who was keeping an eye around her for possible danger, took a breath of relief when the knights left without saying another word.

"Congrats they were gone, but you are announced as a gay now!" she chuckled at the parody due to their conditions.

She would be scared if her sister would start liking girls yet she would be hated by the society for liking men now.

"Tsk! I have no interest in women anyway. Pack everything that is useful, we are changing the inn." Olivia took hasty steps towards the room and scanned to check what she could take with her.

"Those things are not ours and what benefit would it bring if we change the inns. They are going to find us anyway." She snatched the small vase her sister was picking up to pack and placed it back on the table and gave a stern glance to her sister who only thinks about making money these days forgetting her morals completely.

She was not a fool to believe that they left just because of the little drama they had played in the street.

"Tsk! The owner had robbed us by charging high prices. The vase is only a small return for it. And changing inns would give us time and knowledge of how adamant he was in finding us!"
