His tone was grim and hard, for some reason it made her feel uneasy.

  She wanted to turn and look back at his face. But he did not give her that chance. He gave one sharp kick to the horse that galloped until it was just standing in front of the door.

The knights were agitated. They were shocked with the sudden presence of the horse and stood up to shout at its owner but when their eyes met Alex, they stopped.

The men were strong and had a giant frame. Oli was sure they would trample an average man under their feet with ease.

With their strong muscles and body, it would have been easier for them to push Oli and Alex away since they were here without any prior news and did not have appointments either.

Was the visit to the palace that easy for knights? She remembered how each of them had to wait for their turn and needed to take permission before entering the palace but Alex had done none.
