Evlyn stared at the man in front of her with no emotions as if he was a stranger.

Her voice was mocking when she addressed him as her fiance and then looked away.

Alex could not care anymore. He walked past her and stood in front of the duke Caramiline with a faint smile on his face.

"Alex, so you are finally back, young man. And here I thought I had to send my daughter to find you." he laughed as he patted the shoulders of Alex with warmth filled eyes.

Alex was not only crown prince but also his student, the one who grew in front of his eyes.

"I am happy to meet you again too, Duke Caramiline." The man laughed further when Alex ignored all his sarcastic comments without a single change on the reaction of his face.
