"I agree!" he nodded his head for a moment making Gabi feel that nod was not just for holding weapons.

It was such a great time for her to.. She glared at the young boy discreetly as she let go of Alex.

"Alex, sit where your mother is asking you for. It is for your own benefit." Charles knew that the eyes of every noble was on Alex. Why did the boy not understand that they all wanted his welfare?

He stared at Alex with stern eyes when Alex's body turned colder. It was not the first time when his father had not understood the situation but tried to control him.

But he still sat beside Gabi as he asked for. He did not want to insult his father in front of everyone.

"Bring another chair for my aide." he asked the maid who was standing beside the stage.

"...." never had an aide offered a seat beside their master in the formal events.

The maid did not know what to do as she kept standing there with a frozen body.
