Fooling Their Master

"No! I am fine. He had saved me from the incident." she said, still staring at the leaving figure.

For some reason she felt that she would regret no knowing his name or not meeting her again.

"Ophi, will you go and ask for the carriage to come here? I am suddenly feeling exhausted." the eyes of Ophi dimmed.

She should have realized it early. Her hands were injured yet they were roaming all day and now this…!

She looked at her sister with worry and returned towards the carriage.

Instead of waiting there silently, Oli walked to a peddler and gave him a few gold coins and started talking.

Lia stared at her with worry when the peddlar returned her gold and looked offended but Oli kept talking with a warm smile on her face and the man finally nodded and whispered a few more words when she bowed her head in gratitude and returned toward Lia.
