Their Weakness

"Would you let my hands go? It is hurting?" she asked as they crossed the dark passage where only a few maids were standing in the corner.

Their heads were bowed and their presence was almost invisible with their statues- like posture and silence.

But he didn't reply, his grip on her arms only tightened as he kept dragging her while walking with hasty steps.

She gritted her teeth and only bore it until they reached the empty garden. She stared at the grave which was packed perfectly and small roses were planted over it and jerked his hands away.

"Charles! What in the world are you doing? What would Leo and Alex think about us?" they chided him when he glared at her. His eyes were so cold.

"You! You are the one talking about it when you are standing in front of them in tattered rags!" he pointed at her torn dress as if she could not see it without him showing. "What happened to it?"
