Ethan stared at Alex flabbergasted who patted the shoulders of Ethan.

"I know! It took him a long time. I was not expecting that he would be this slow." When Charles had given him the position, he was thinking of using Alex as his puppet.

Alex was sure that he was going to take action the moment he realized things would not be in his hands anymore.

"If you want my father to join you, he will. I am sure many other nobles would too." he assured when Alex chuckled.

"That is the reason that your father is not invited. My father was sure that he would not support the idea." he shook his head and then took out a cigarette from his pocket when Ethan lit it for him.

"So.. what are you planning to do?" He was upset for his friend but baffled why he was at such ease.
