The knights looked at him with shocked gazes.

"The lady is not feeling well. I am not sure if we should wake her up." they felt conflicted.

Ben had told them that the lady was injured but the man in front of them.. They could not refuse him if he pressured them.

"Yes, I understand. I was shocked too when I read the timing on the letter. But since she had called me, it might be urgent. Why don't you knock and confirm. I am sure there would be maids inside waiting for her.

If she were asleep, the maids would inform us." His voice was soft and kind and the look was benevolent on his face that they could not refuse him.

"Al.. alright." The knight hesitated for a few seconds before knocking on the door.

Soon a maid opened the door and stared back at them.
