"Wait! You can not do that. We are all heads of our houses and we.." Leo stared back at the man with such a cold look on his face that the man flinched.

He forgot what he was saying and turned into a statue.

"I can see you still are moving your uncouth mouth liberally. Shall I send you to an underground dungeon instead to show my powers to you?"

The man broke into a cold sweat. The room fell into deafening silence. No one made a fuss about canceling such a marvelous plan or ending the meeting in a strange way.

They bowed their heads and started to leave the room silently.

Evelyn wanted to leave too. She was feeling awful but Arden was still blocking her way no matter how much she glared at him.

"Lady Wiltshire, can I have a moment please." She bit her lips. She did not want to say yes.

She had suffered so much because of his foolish plan. But in the end, he had thrown all the plans in the ditch just for her!
