"Your majesty, you returned earlier than expected?" Ben sweated as he ran towards the door.

Alex paused, punched him right on his face, breaking his nose. Blood comes out instantly making Ben wince.

"Your majesty! Give me a chance to explain." Another punch landed on his cheeks.

It was with more force that he felt his jaw was dislocated. He could not open his mouth casually and speak again.

"I should have dismissed you when you had raised an objection against her for the first time.

I was a fool to think that her actions would make you reconsider your thoughts. I thought my loyalty for you was enough to keep you closer.

But I am not going to repeat my mistake. You can pack your luggage, Ben. you are fired." Ben's eyes widened instantly.

The pain of the announcement was more than the physical pain he suffered.
