Alex stood up with that cocky and laid back smile on his face. He leisurely walked towards Oli but.. Instead of going to Oli, he held the maid's neck and lifted her higher.

"What did you mix in the pies?" His words shocked the other two.

Oli picked up the pie and sniffed it while Ethan ran to seize the kitchen.

"No maid would leave the palace. Close the doors. I want every staff member in the hall." He ordered the butler before running towards the kitchen.

"Damn!" Who would have thought that his staff would be so brave to poison the emperor.

"But my lord…" Butler wanted to ask the reason but Ethan was long gone.

Lilian frowned when she heard the noises and chaos.

She held her banister and stared at the butler who was collecting all the staff in the hallway.

"What is this ruckus for? Can I not have peace in my own house?" The maids bowed their heads deeper.
