"You are leaving your mother for a woman? Why the Blergh town then? Would it not be better that you shift to another empire where she is a marquees? Ha!" a dry chuckle escaped her lips as she shook her head in disbelief.

"I never had another child because I never wanted you to struggle to get your position. If I know that you are going to leave behind everything for a woman, I would have.." she paused and closed her eyes. Anguish was dancing on her face when he looked away.

"I am not leaving you for a woman but you are discarding us for more power." though his voice was barely about a whisper as if he was talking to himself, he head snapped back to him.

She glared at him with cold eyes.
