Primitive Gods

Tarsh had taken the two spirits back before the other guys woke up. He didn't want them to see spirits and freak out. Neither did Dhvani and Ajay. So the now conscious group did not know that they had forgotten the most exciting journey they had been on. Ajay did not forget in the light of the system and of course, the spirit emperor Tarsh.

Because the world they were in was a time loop, and also the cave spirit did not want them to know this world, he had erased memories of the group. The cave spirit became the patron god of the newly created world and he of course had the power to do this.

They all decided that this trip was exhausting but they didn't know why. Because they were tired, Dhvani would answer this if she could. Seeing that the group headed back, Dhvani took back her senses from the communication link. She turned on the notifications option. She turned her attention to the group of people who were very mismatched but still were playing. Tarsh who looked youngest of them all was the oldest. But Dhvani didn't understand why he still had his juvenile form. He quickly became the leader of the group because the stone spirits were particularly easy to fool.

Now came the most important issue. Tarsh found that he couldn't call them nicknames like you, he, and she so he decided to ask them to get names.

"You should give yourself names. I named myself, you know," he quickly started narrating his own experience proudly.

"What's your name? " The gray spirit asked Tarsh.

Ignorance is bliss, as always. If the gray spirit knew the real identity of Tarsh, Dhvani wondered if she would talk like this. Because she had seen how much respect the spirit animals bestowed upon Tarsh, Dhvani knew firsthand knowledge of this topic.

"My name is Tarsh. Awesome name, right?"

The two spirits nodded. Dhvani felt bad seeing how much Tarsh bullied the clueless spirits who came to see the world for the first time. But she also wanted to know how these spirits would answer.

"Then you can name us," The Golden spirit found the answer to this difficulty.

Dhvani saw the smug look turning into confusion and now she felt bad for Tarsh. Poor baby. He didn't know many names. But now he had to brainstorm again. Tarsh asked them to wait for five minutes. Dhvani didn't know what he did but she saw him disappearing.

The two spirits then turned to her and asked her many spirits-related questions. Dhvani, who was a newborn spirit, knew nothing about it. So she quickly opened the cartoons channel and helped herself out of this cornered situation.

Like Tarsh, they were instantly hooked to the shows. But then she faced a new challenge. They asked her questions about the shows. She didn't have that much knowledge. She just watched for entertainment but never got involved much in the story. So she didn't have answers to theories and conspiracies in the plot of the shows.

Tarsh's appearance was very much welcomed by her.

He nodded like a grown-up and walked toward the spirits and made them kneel before him. Otherwise, they wouldn't be at the same height and he couldn't produce his majesty before them, right?

"You are Tvisha, "He named the Gray stone spirit. She was bathed in the magical energy of Tarsh. And Dhvani noticed that his magical energy color was purple.

"And you are Tavish," He named the Golden stone spirit. The golden stone spirit turned into silver for a whole minute before changing back to golden color and then started changing his appearance like before.

Tarsh also handed the fragment of the Golden stone he had obtained from the spirit animals to Tavish. The stone melted in his hands and Tavish became taller. He looked like a teenager now.

His body also seemed very solid. All the fragments were parts of his soul. Dhvani wondered why a powerful soul would be turned powerless and helpless that it had to resort to self-destruct. She felt that she shouldn't want to know the reason. But she did.

She was thinking in her world while the three spirits were playing again and the group was traveling back to their home city. Everyone was doing their things but they were all in harmony.

Time passed and they had to say goodbye for now. The five guys were still impressed with Ajay and quickly added him to their circle. Ajay finally got a friend circle that wouldn't leave him alone in perils. Their adventure had just begun anyway, right?

But the new problem surrounding Ajay was how could he make the spirits quiet. The noise they were making was giving him headaches. And the other problem was how to make them honestly live with him. He couldn't adopt them too. That would seem very fishy. The fact that Tavish looked older helped. He just had to be a temporary guardian till Tavish turned eighteen or taller.

The spirits changed as they aged. Tavish and Tvisha became the younger siblings of his new manager who was gone to open a new branch somewhere far. He just allowed them to live as his neighbors. Also, Tavish was clever enough to become an advisor to his gaming team. Who else could add more fantasy to a game than a fantasy character's spirit?

And that's how his family met the neighbors. When they heard that the majority of the family was working for Ajay, they looked at him as an unscrupulous boss. Ajay rolled his eyes at that.

Because they were kids, they were well cared for by his family. And the fat was Tarsh was close to them helped. Ajay thought that these changes should be very suspicious. But he knew the reason after he asked Tarsh. The spirits have a magical barrier to them so they seemed harmless to humans. Because they were harmless. And this barrier protected those who were friendly to them. That's why Ajay easily got the approval to adopt Tarsh. And now no one batted an eye at the siblings appearing magically. But this could be done by very powerful spirits.

Tarsh being the most powerful handled all of this with care ad got his wish. Spirits were the darlings of heaven, in Ajay's opinion.

Dhvani felt the same way too. Spirits were the innate consciousness of everything. They were formed when anything in this world resonates with nature. And nature of course protected them as a mother did. This barrier gave them protection too. And it also gave them perks so they could easily single with the human world when they came of age. They really needed all the blessings they could get or else they would be taken advantage of easily. With their trusting character, it would as easy as well, fooling a spirit.

Ajay also realized that this barrier was only helpful for spirits and not him particularly. So he still cooked up perfect rhetorics and waited for someone to ask him so he could fire away all his answers. No one had asked him yet but he was waiting for some sober person who wouldn't be affected by all this magic.

Where did he know that there was a sober person in his family? His sister Indu found this all very ridiculous so she was keeping an eye on all the happenings. She relaxed her vigilance when she found that the spirits weren't unfavorable to him. If she had come asking them or even told him something, she would have known the real situation. But she was scared that they were all bewitched and her asking questions would turn them into some kind of puppet. The misunderstanding was really deep.

Tarsh and Tvisha were particularly interested in schooling but Dhvani felt that it was dangerous to them. She wanted to add some kind of system to them so she could also know if they were in trouble. She asked Tarsh about this and he nonchalantly replied.

"We could hide in my world, easy!"

And add fuel to ghost rumors.

The answer came from Ajay's mother, Prema. She saw that the children were high IQ and low EQ types. So she volunteered to homeschool them. But they had to participate in all of the social activities in the neighborhood's school. She seemed to want to slowly integrate them into the environment. Dhvani also agreed to this. By then, the two spirits would easily adjust to humans. Even humans have a hard time adjusting to a new environment. But adjusting to a new world was a lot more strenuous than that.

There were free teachers to teach them. Like Ajay's father, Ravi taught them mathematics and also general knowledge of the world. Prema taught them languages and did all the fun activities. And Ajay's adoptive father, Mr. Jeet took over the remaining part. He taught them Science. He was already a lecturer. It was easy to teach the basics of his own subject. The Golden stone spirit, Tavish also sat with the two spirits to listen to the lessons. All the teachers thought that he was there to check how they were teaching while the real reason was that he was also there to learn. He was just freeloading the channel.

The days were fine here. But somewhere deep in the corner of another world in a higher realm, people were dying. The world there became barren. It was cursed and most people had lost hope, But some were still trying to help. The one who was the most noticeable was a man in white. If Dhvani was here, she would have recognized him as her boss. She would have questioned him first, though.

He was helping a boy aged fifteen and infusing his energy within him.

"Don't waste your energy, Shourya. You still have to find our gods. Only they can save this world." The boy who was actually older than everyone else in that world coughed.

"You are the life spirit of this world. You won't die this easily. Don't forget, we are still waiting for the gods to come back."

"Will they really come back? They had to lose everything because of me. They died to save this world but what did those people do? They cut their way of reincarnation. They should be damned. Even my curse is not working now."

He gasped in pain.

Shourya had a serious look on his face which was unlike anything Dhvani had known about him. She saw him smiling mostly. She would have understood then that most smiles hide the worst pain.

"Don't worry. I saved the children of luck from their premature death so they could help us. All we need is some luck. Even if they cut the way of reincarnation of the gods, they are just humans. They can't break the spirit of gods. I know they are somewhere here. I just need to find them. The children of luck this time are all-powerful. They are compassionate and their help will make this world start a new life."

His words were very passionate and he looked like he really believed in them. The life spirit also had some hope and his eyes lit up.

"I wish to see them. Maybe they could really do this."

Shourya immediately waved his hands and orbs formed in the air. It showed the activities various systems were doing with their hosts. Dhvani stood out among all of them. First, because she was a 'no specs' system. She didn't know the meaning but Shourya did. And also the most important reason was because of Tarsh.

"She is with a Spirit Emperor. The spirit Emperors all perished with the disappearance of Primitive gods. Maybe his arrival would really change everything."

The life spirit cried seeing Tarsh.

Shourya didn't know whether it would happen but he had something he never really had before. Hope. He had a newfound hope now. He had seen Dhvani in her world but he was very concerned that her past lives were very short. She had a loving family but they all died in every life. He found it odd but didn't consider it an anomaly. But her appearance really set off a trigger of beautiful events.

He knew that he just had to wait till everything was in place. He had done all he could. It was others who had to do their job. He prayed to the primitive gods who disappeared with tears in his eyes. Please save his master and mistress.

Dhvani who was being seen felt a familiar sneeze coming in. She found it hilarious that even if she had no living body, she sneezed. And then she put this particular matter out of her mind easily.
