Dhvani voluntarily accepted the task of being a system. For a small chance to be reincarnated again, she aspires to level up and complete her task as soon as possible.

"We were never meant to meet. You should remember your duties as well."
He left her there and he never saw her again. Did he regret his parting words? Yes. But can he change anything? He hoped so.

The kings did not want to maintain peace. They were involved in this war. Or maybe they were so gone and involved that they couldn't extricate themselves.

War would allow them to rule their kingdoms with ease. This situation will change if there is a civil uprising or the leadership changes.

Dhvani was leaning towards the leadership change option because a leader who doesn't care about the lives of his followers is worse than a devil. The kings didn't care if people were happy and the worst thing was they sacrificed the lives of soldiers for a war that was not required to fight. Entirely waging a war for their benefit. This has to be the worst thing that can happen.

But it also showed how much corruption was present in the world. The kings doing this also represented what the top families thought of the common people. It is said that when evil rises to the top, someone comes to clean it up. It was their turn to do so now.
