Dhvani voluntarily accepted the task of being a system. For a small chance to be reincarnated again, she aspires to level up and complete her task as soon as possible.

Ajay has everything. He is happy, and successful but inexplicably bound to a system that chatters in his mind. The system wants him to do tasks so it can level up and again, do more tasks. From being frustrated to enjoying, he changes gradually. 

But can he do something for her that he would never want to? And will she really want to unbind when she remembers something from the distant forgotten past?

Dhvani stood in the endless white of the Memory Ocean waiting for his answer. He looked at her for a long time and ruthlessly rejected her.
"We were never meant to meet. You should remember your duties as well."
He left her there and he never saw her again. Did he regret his parting words? Yes. But can he change anything? He hoped so.

Dhvani knew they would go back. There was a slight chance of them going back together but they bet on that chance. How could they be willing to leave a man behind?

If there were no system props they wouldn't have gone back. But now, they had some help at least.

Ajay opened a space channel and stayed there. No place in that world was safe for him at the moment. He would go back after some time. This time, he would not go directly to the prison cell.

Even if he believed in that guy, he wouldn't be willing to fall into the trap knowingly. He should at least try to fight his way out of anything that might be thrown at him.

They didn't know if that person told the truth. What if there was no city lord who was imprisoned and this was all a big plan? Right, it could happen too.

So at precisely midnight, they went to the cell. There was a slight problem. There were two people in the cell.
