A Clown for Distraction

The night sky was clear and dark to every corner. The blanket of stars was dazzling brightly. The night breeze had a coldness that was enjoyable. While the capital was slowly shutting down to sleep, the lamps at the Darwin estate were brightly lit.

They say the light might go off at the palace, never at Darwins. The trainee soldiers train in shifts. Some of them morning and some of them at night.

Alora was going with Freya. Vidor was complaining to Kaven and Arihan went to his room. James stood on the balcony to watch over in case Alora's appearance causes a commotion. 

Freya noticed Alora's hand fumbling with the small wooden box in her hand. She tried to relax her nerves as they approached the field full of soldiers who were slowly stopping their practice at the sight of Alora. "Sister Alora, just be normal."

Alora uneasily glanced at Freya, "I am nervous to meet Mirela, Brax, Edvin, and Wayn. Will they be angry? Or upset? I don't know what to do."
