CHAPTER 91

After eating their lunch, Louisa and Melvin bring Lulu to an arcade. They let the little girl try all the rides that are suited for her young age. They also buy her a stuffed toy and Louisa filled her bags with snacks just like in the old days. She is scheduled to return Lulu at six in the evening.

But she is starting to hesitate on doing that.

Having Lulu on her side feels really different. Although Louisa has a lot of videos and photos of her daughter on her phone and laptop, nothing can still beat the feeling of having Lulu on her side. Now that she hugged and kissed Lulu after several months of separation, Louisa is starting to feel selfish again.

For the past years, Louisa only had Lulu on her side. Her little daughter is the one giving her strength when certain days were harder for her to deal with. A simple smile and hug from her daughter are enough to melt her fatigue away. And Louisa becomes used to it and that transforms into her source of strength.
