Ahealm

There was a time when humans abused too much of the world. A time when Nature decided to turn against them. A time when the sentence for their sins and crimes finally came. 

It was called the Great Curse. Some would say that it was a blessing since it gave humans the mysterious energy called Mana, which made them capable of using magic. 

However, most saw it just as the name said: a Curse. 

The mana invading the world brought consequences way greater than magic. Soon, beasts called Ancients began to appear, and that's when humanity's future would change forever. Those beasts were born to annihilate humans, after all. 

Nonetheless, humans are selfish and stubborn beings. They would defy the Gods, Nature, or any supernatural being that opposed them. No matter the curse, no matter the blessing. 

That's when the Beast Hunters were born and the eternal war for the survival and supremacy of humanity began. 

Little did they know that their reaction would be the start of a tale, the tale of the Legendary Beast Hunter, the Apostle of Wrath; the man of crimson eyes and hair. A human whose hatred would break the earth apart...

That is my first book for this account, so thank you very much for reading this. It may have many plot holes and mistakes, so I am sorry may any of these appear. 

As you might notice while you read the first dozens of chapters, my English is not perfect, maybe worse than average since it is not my native language. 

If you see any grammatical mistakes, please scold me so I can get better and better for the next chapters and books coming ahead xD

The legendary beast hunter

The trainees continued advancing deeper into Stokil Fortress' complex, using the buildings around to cover their sides and back. The battle was getting much more comfortable for them and they could spend less energy while fighting, also as mana.  


The objective was to gain more time for the Retaliation Troops to arrive and deal with those monsters. Also, soon the gates would be opened. They needed to give their all on that battle in order to survive and guarantee that Stokil Fortress wouldn't be dominated completely by those beasts.  


Several minutes passed as they continued to fight against those monsters. They were all getting exhausted already, even though they found a better place to fight.  


There had a lot of countermeasures that they could make in order to economize their energy and resources, but it was just to delay the unavoidable.
