There was a time when humans abused too much of the world. A time when Nature decided to turn against them. A time when the sentence for their sins and crimes finally came. 

It was called the Great Curse. Some would say that it was a blessing since it gave humans the mysterious energy called Mana, which made them capable of using magic. 

However, most saw it just as the name said: a Curse. 

The mana invading the world brought consequences way greater than magic. Soon, beasts called Ancients began to appear, and that's when humanity's future would change forever. Those beasts were born to annihilate humans, after all. 

Nonetheless, humans are selfish and stubborn beings. They would defy the Gods, Nature, or any supernatural being that opposed them. No matter the curse, no matter the blessing. 

That's when the Beast Hunters were born and the eternal war for the survival and supremacy of humanity began. 

Little did they know that their reaction would be the start of a tale, the tale of the Legendary Beast Hunter, the Apostle of Wrath; the man of crimson eyes and hair. A human whose hatred would break the earth apart...

That is my first book for this account, so thank you very much for reading this. It may have many plot holes and mistakes, so I am sorry may any of these appear. 

As you might notice while you read the first dozens of chapters, my English is not perfect, maybe worse than average since it is not my native language. 

If you see any grammatical mistakes, please scold me so I can get better and better for the next chapters and books coming ahead xD

The legendary beast hunter

Amelia kept in front of Ares and made sure that she was covering him completely from those monsters. She wouldn't allow any of them from touching him.  


"Why are you doing this!? If the important thing is to survive, then just go away! I am just a burden right now!"


"Shut up! Don't tell me what to do! I would never, ever, leave a comrade behind, got it!? That's how I am. That's why I decided to become a Guardian instead of living a life of wealth and pleasure. So don't come with this bullshit to me!"


Just as she finished shouting this, one of the golems advanced against her.  


Amelia didn't get desperate. On the contrary, she waited for the right moment to use both her rapiers to parry a punch that he was aiming at her face. The golem put a lot of weight into that blow, so he had a lot of momentum. Amelia used it to her own advantage, using his weight and momentum against him.  


The result was the golem going past her and falling to the ground several meters away.
