"I feel like you are wondering about something right now...", Amelia asked, approaching Ares.
The redheaded boy turned to her, raising one brow. He was holding his axe, sitting cross-legged on the grass and wiping out the blood of orcs and kobolds from its blade.
"Why do you think so?" he asked without turning to her.
"Because you are not paying attention to what is happening around you, so you didn't notice me approaching you," she said, sitting beside him casually. "No, you aren't even paying attention to what you are doing right now."
Ares looked at his axe's blade, noticing that he wasn't wiping it correctly at all. He clenched his teeth for a moment, scolding himself internally. He scratched the back of his head while sighing.
"You generally can't hide when you are worried about something... What's the matter?" she asked, tilting her head in a way that Ares found very cute, though he himself couldn't find the adjective to that.
