Amelia didn't have any choice instead of poising her two rapiers in front of her body and defend one of Borok's attacks. She was very tired, so her legs weren't working as they should. Since she was getting exhausted due to the constant pressure on the captain's onslaught, she couldn't rely on her reflexes anymore as well.
The collision between the scimitar and her rapiers sent her flying. Her body struck against the flagpole and the air left her lungs.
Borok didn't lose time and followed suit on her, swinging his scimitar once again.
She couldn't dodge that one as well and needed to block with her rapiers another time, defending the vertical attack coming towards her head. She felt like her blade would break apart at any time. Nonetheless, she was more concerned about the snapping sound of her knees. She didn't know whether her rapiers or her legs would break first.
