A handicap (2)

Ares hated to admit that. After years of struggling to get stronger, after so much training, just his physical capabilities weren't enough for him to become a renowned Beast Hunter. Probably, he wouldn't even be able to enter Chronos Military Academy with his current power. Not only would he be outrightly rejected, but also, even if he got admitted to the academy, he would soon die due to their strict training and missions.

He didn't know quite well how it was their routine in the military academy, but it most definitely was something way harder than Stokil's routine and training. If that was really the case, there was no way that Ares would be able to withstand it. One week inside Stokil was enough to make him feel how it was the burden of an aspiring guardian and gave him the consciousness that an aspiring hunter would need to struggle two times as much.
