Onboard Already

Ares just woke up the next morning, when it was nearly noon. He was feeling great pain in both arms. So much pain that he had the urge to scream right after he slowly opened his eyes.

He was quite dizzy at first, but his consciousness began to get clearer every second.

The crimson-eyed boy looked to the sides, seeing that there was something strange with the environment.

"W-What's it? Where are we?" he wondered as he noticed that he was lying in a bed. Beside him was a wooden wall that wasn't straight at all, but rather slightly curved inward. Around him, there were several other beds, though none of them was occupied.

'We were bordering the river, weren't we? How could I appear in a place like this?'

Ares raised the upper part of his body with difficulty since both his arms were wrapped in tight bandages. The one that got broken by Arwin had a thick wooden stick in the middle wrapped around bandages as well, serving to immobilize it.
