There was a time when humans abused too much of the world. A time when Nature decided to turn against them. A time when the sentence for their sins and crimes finally came. 

It was called the Great Curse. Some would say that it was a blessing since it gave humans the mysterious energy called Mana, which made them capable of using magic. 

However, most saw it just as the name said: a Curse. 

The mana invading the world brought consequences way greater than magic. Soon, beasts called Ancients began to appear, and that's when humanity's future would change forever. Those beasts were born to annihilate humans, after all. 

Nonetheless, humans are selfish and stubborn beings. They would defy the Gods, Nature, or any supernatural being that opposed them. No matter the curse, no matter the blessing. 

That's when the Beast Hunters were born and the eternal war for the survival and supremacy of humanity began. 

Little did they know that their reaction would be the start of a tale, the tale of the Legendary Beast Hunter, the Apostle of Wrath; the man of crimson eyes and hair. A human whose hatred would break the earth apart...

That is my first book for this account, so thank you very much for reading this. It may have many plot holes and mistakes, so I am sorry may any of these appear. 

As you might notice while you read the first dozens of chapters, my English is not perfect, maybe worse than average since it is not my native language. 

If you see any grammatical mistakes, please scold me so I can get better and better for the next chapters and books coming ahead xD

The legendary beast hunter

Before Artemis' and Hera's attacks collided with each other, the latter thought quickly, 'Sword of the North, fifth form: Crescent Slash!'

That Martial Arts skill paired with his Runic Art doubled her strength, to say the least. Also, the most impressive about that combination was the power and skill. The power and brutality of the spell together with the skill and special effects of that calculated move of the Martial Arts was surely the peak of what a true fighter could reach.

Hera needed a lot of concentration to unleash both techniques, but once she could do so...

'Even a weakling like me can fight on even grounds with a monster like you if I fight this way!' she thought as her blade collided against Artemis'.

The explosion of power was so intense and bright that Hera's body got numb and her vision, blurred for a while. She couldn't even open her eyes for some seconds due to the pain that she was feeling there. It was excruciating.
