Ahealm

There was a time when humans abused too much of the world. A time when Nature decided to turn against them. A time when the sentence for their sins and crimes finally came. 

It was called the Great Curse. Some would say that it was a blessing since it gave humans the mysterious energy called Mana, which made them capable of using magic. 

However, most saw it just as the name said: a Curse. 

The mana invading the world brought consequences way greater than magic. Soon, beasts called Ancients began to appear, and that's when humanity's future would change forever. Those beasts were born to annihilate humans, after all. 

Nonetheless, humans are selfish and stubborn beings. They would defy the Gods, Nature, or any supernatural being that opposed them. No matter the curse, no matter the blessing. 

That's when the Beast Hunters were born and the eternal war for the survival and supremacy of humanity began. 

Little did they know that their reaction would be the start of a tale, the tale of the Legendary Beast Hunter, the Apostle of Wrath; the man of crimson eyes and hair. A human whose hatred would break the earth apart...

That is my first book for this account, so thank you very much for reading this. It may have many plot holes and mistakes, so I am sorry may any of these appear. 

As you might notice while you read the first dozens of chapters, my English is not perfect, maybe worse than average since it is not my native language. 

If you see any grammatical mistakes, please scold me so I can get better and better for the next chapters and books coming ahead xD

The legendary beast hunter

Melissa Von Spark loved living in the capital.

While in other countries she would be seen as a cruel murderer, someone who promoted the destruction of her own family, in the capital she was basically a hero.

That alone would be enough reason for her to live her days with peace and joy inside her heart. Nonetheless, that was not the only reason. There was much more to her life while serving the King.

The King never said his name to no one. That was something quite peculiar. As far as Melissa Von Spark knew, only the King's wife knew his true name, and there were some rumors that even she didn't know it.

Melissa would never come to understand why the King did that. However, she could list many reasons as to why he would go as far as hiding his true name from the entire country. That was not important for her, though, so she never gave much thought to it.
