There was a time when humans abused too much of the world. A time when Nature decided to turn against them. A time when the sentence for their sins and crimes finally came. 

It was called the Great Curse. Some would say that it was a blessing since it gave humans the mysterious energy called Mana, which made them capable of using magic. 

However, most saw it just as the name said: a Curse. 

The mana invading the world brought consequences way greater than magic. Soon, beasts called Ancients began to appear, and that's when humanity's future would change forever. Those beasts were born to annihilate humans, after all. 

Nonetheless, humans are selfish and stubborn beings. They would defy the Gods, Nature, or any supernatural being that opposed them. No matter the curse, no matter the blessing. 

That's when the Beast Hunters were born and the eternal war for the survival and supremacy of humanity began. 

Little did they know that their reaction would be the start of a tale, the tale of the Legendary Beast Hunter, the Apostle of Wrath; the man of crimson eyes and hair. A human whose hatred would break the earth apart...

That is my first book for this account, so thank you very much for reading this. It may have many plot holes and mistakes, so I am sorry may any of these appear. 

As you might notice while you read the first dozens of chapters, my English is not perfect, maybe worse than average since it is not my native language. 

If you see any grammatical mistakes, please scold me so I can get better and better for the next chapters and books coming ahead xD

The legendary beast hunter

"Well, since the superiors said that we will have some days off, what do you guys think about having some fun?" Anton proposed to the rest of the team.

He seemed to be as carefree as ever. There was a sympathetic smile on his face.

Anyone who looked at him would feel, even for a moment, that things were ok. It really looked like they were walking into a playground instead of a place they would need to defend with their lives, in a slightly cruel test to see whether they were apt to withstand the pressure of being a Beast Hunter.

Because of this quirk of his, which may or may not be intentional, most of the newcomers were quite relaxed. Some of them were searching around the village for a place where they could leave their belongings and sleep later, even though the superiors clearly said for them to be always prepared for the worst.
