Approaching danger

"A baker? It probably would make you more pathetic, to be honest," he heard a voice coming from above, but it didn't startle him.

"Hey...", he said without taking his eyes off the ceiling. "You barely talk, you know? Why is it that, whenever you finally open your mouth to say something, it is always something so mean?"

"It's because idiot things annoy me and I can't stay quiet before idiocy. I need to say something to feel better."

"That's truly mean. Also, don't mess up with bakers. It is a good job."

"By no means I am mocking bakers. I am saying that you, and especially you, would be quite pathetic doing so."
