Tired already?

The Ancient released the bowstring, after dodging another attack from Ares. Her face was calm, a deadly calmness that one would only see on the faces of people used to kill.

The arrow pierced the air several times faster than the shot of a potent crossbow. It reached a new level of speed that the Beast Hunters hadn't seen until that point. Paired with the speed of Ares' advance, the clash between the redheaded boy and the charged projectile was subtle and fierce.

An explosion of flames launched debris to all sides, destroying the asphalt on the most intense part of the impact. A huge perimeter got engulfed in flames that consumed even concrete in a matter of seconds. Any near metallic object got melted just as fast.

"Ares!" Mark shouted, taking a step forward, only to be silently scolded by Pan, who glared at him.
