LILY HOW DID THIS HAPPENED?

Chapter Eleven

Lily was in her room crying, she wished she listened to Amanda and Jane, she wished she did not visit that party, she cried more, her phone rang continuously, however she refused to answer the call, she wanted to be on her own, she was ashamed of herself, she felt she has let herself down. The subsequent day she stayed in her room, refused to go out, stayed up in the room feeling depressed. She decided to put herself together, she thought about her family and determined not to let them down, henceforth she'll focus on her studies.

The next day she went to lecture and saw Amanda already seated. Amanda asked her "are you okay? I've been calling you but you've not been taking your calls. What happened?" Lily replied "I'm okay, I needed to be by myself. After the lecture, the girls went to eat at the cafeteria, Tracy noticed them and walked towards their direction, she said "Lily I've been trying to reach you but you've not been taking your calls, what happened" Lily said "nothing, I wasn't in the right mood to talk to anyone" just then Jane walk to them and said "hey what are you girls gossiping about?" No one answered, she noticed their mood, still none of the girls said anything. She then asked if someone had died, Lily said

" no " she stood up and told them she had another lecture, she turned to Amanda and asked "are you not coming?" Amanda stood up and left with lily.

Jane asked Tracy what went wrong, and Tracy said she had no idea. That Lily has been acting strange since she left the party last night.

Chapter Twelve

Weeks passed, Lily became very serious with her studies and decided she should graduate no matter what has happened. Lily started going to Amanda's house to study, trying to cover lectures she has missed. Couple of months later, Lily became ill, She had a fever, she went out and got drugs to suppress it from a pharmacy store. Then one day the fever became unbearable, she decided to go to the hospital with Amanda.

She ran some tests, and in a couple of minutes the results were out, she checked the results and found out she was pregnant. She cried immediately, Amanda asked "what is it!" she collected the results from her and saw the test results. She became sad and shouted "Lily how did this happened! How!!" Lily said nothing, she just cried and said how could She be pregnant at the age of 17, how can she raise a child, she started crying.

Amanda called Jane to meet them at Lily's place then she held her friend, called a cab and they went back to Lily place. She asked Lily how it happened, Lilly told her exactly what happened that night.
