THE TOWER OF IDES II ~ALL THE LEGENDS ARE TRUE~

"YOU SEE WHAT?"

Marsil looked to his side at the sounding question. Hemlock's deep brown eyes met his squarely.

"The tower," Marsil rumbled. "I see it."

Hemlock's gaze left his, looking to the other girls in confusion. They each shook their heads at him. After some seconds, the young man turned his eyes back to the Prince. Marsil still appeared to be staring off into the twin mountains in the distance.

"Erm, Lord Silverheel?" Hemlock started in a calm voice. "I don't know about you but we don't see anything."

Marsil abruptly turned to him at his words. His colorless eyes pinned Hemlock. The redhead remained puzzled.

"You're certain you can't see anything there?" Marsil questioned, inclining his hand to the dunes beyond.

Hemlock shook his head. The Prince's gaze shifted to the young women. They appeared to be wearing the same expression as Hemlock. Silent bewilderment.
