Caius smiled and placed his arm around her, pulling her to him for a warm embrace.
He closed his eyes, resting his chin on her head.
"You're here..." He said, very happy.
He had been wondering how to tell her about his birthday…
"Hmm," she mumbled, but her hold suddenly faltered remembering where they were.
She looked around and saw there was no one there, but there were cameras. She gestured to let go of the man, but he tightened his hold.
She looked at him in puzzlement and he let out a low laugh, the vibration of his chuckle reaching her skin.
"Don't worry about those, since professor Janette came in, the cameras mysteriously break." He told her, knowing her morbid interest in gossip, "I think she's had a few trysts here with other professors."
She looked at him deeply. "Just others? Not you?"
This seemed to alert him of the seriousness of whatever his answer was and he looked at her with all seriousness. "Never."
"Really?"
"I'll be upset if you keep questioning me."
