CHAPTER 61: REWARD

Alayna wiped away the tears from her cheeks before forcing a smile, no matter how much pain she was feeling and going through at the moment, she still needed to finish the story.

"When I couldn't walk, he was my legs, he gave me the love and care I lacked when growing up. I wanted to just die and give everything up. Although my talent wasn't high, I still lost and that was too much for me. But he was there for me and he gave me hope.

Since I couldn't live as a cultivator I could at least live like a commoner. There was no horror in living like that. I was surrounded by many of them and they were just living well and happily too.

So, I accepted my fate and abandoned all hate and lived my life but he still left. This is the only problem of being mortal, with him gone, life became unbearable. Although I am forty-three years old and a bit old, that doesn't mean that I can just be used by anyone like that.
