CHAPTER 89: GILSI

The driver stopped and kindly asked her when she stopped also, "Miss, are you perhaps going to Gilsi?"

"Yes, Sir, I am. Are you also headed that way?" she smilingly asked.

"Yes, and if you don't mind, you can hop on. I will drop you off there," the driver said.

Alayna looked at the man and she didn't sense any malicious intent toward her so she agreed and carefully climbed into the carriage. Inside there were around four people whom she greeted with a warm smile on her face.

"Is this your first time going to Gilsi?"

"You don't look like a local!"

"Yes, it's my first time. I heard so much about the town and want to check it out. Can you share some news with me?" Alayna spoke humbly with the middle-aged women who were very warm toward her.

"That's a piece of cake!"

Alayna never expected that the town was more interesting than she thought.
