The Double Date

Ren and Mar are having their breakfast with little Ezra when Ivy came all excited.

"Good morning, chief, and good morning, Ren."

Both Ren and Mar replied, smiling. "Good morning."

"What's making you so giggly early in the morning?" Ren said.

"Well, for starters, me and Agni went for a hunt the other day. It was so much fun, I can't believe I'm just doing it now. If I have known that I will feel this tremendous happiness, I would have done it a long time ago." she replied while smiling non-stop.

Ren feels happy seeing how her friend looks. She thinks that Ivy is really happy with what is happening in her life right now. "I'm glad to know you made the choice of meeting him and giving him a chance."

She hugged Ren, "I am actually glad myself that I've made that choice."

"Why don't we go on a double date then?" Ren said.

Both Mar and Ivy looked at each other in confusion.

"What's a double date?" Ivy asked.

"Yes, love, what's a double date?" Mar asked too.

Ren realized these two don't have any idea what a date means, so she explained. "A date is where like you and Agni went out to hunt or do something fun. A double date just means you and Agni, me and Mar going out together."

"Wow, that would be a great idea." Ivy said happily.

"Yes, that's a great idea, love. But how about Ezra?"

Ren laughed, "Oh yeah, I forgot about him."

Both Ivy and Mar laughed, too.

Ren thinks for a second and said, "Well, we can't do anything about it. Why don't we just bring him with us?"

"Don't you think it would be a problem for us bringing a cub in a hunt? Let's just ask my mom to look after him while we're out." Ivy replied.

"Is that okay, dear?" Ren asked Mar.

"I think that's better than bringing him."

"It's settled then. When do we go? I also have to tell Agni about this wonderful idea." Ivy said, jumping out of joy.

"Today would be great, it's sunny and the weather is nice." Mar said.

Ren and Ivy looked at each other excitedly, "Today it is."

"I will go now. I have to find Agni first. See you lovers later."

Ivy came back with Agni later that day. Ren and Mar are done packing some food and extra clothes for Ezra. They then talked with Ivy's mom and left Ezra there.

Ivy's mom is quite happy taking care of little Ezra since it's been a long time since there is a cub on their hut.

"Enjoy you guys. Oh, and Chief, dont worry about the little cub." Ivy's mom said while carrying little Ezra.

"Thank you, we will be sure to bring something for you later." Mar replied, smiling.

The two couples went on ahead to go and have fun for their double date.

They decided to go far the Green Valley Mountain. This is the first time for Ren and Ivy to be in this place. Usually, only men's are able to come to the mountain to hunt.

From the mountain you can see the long blue river, the beautiful flowery landscape, the tallest of the trees and the nice color of the sky. You can clearly see the surrounding place from there.

"Woah, this place is amazing." Ren said to Ivy.

"Yeah, you can say that again. The scenery here is fantastic. How come I haven't been here before." Ivy said.

"Only men can reach this place and only by transforming into a tiger beast. As you see along the way, the road going here is hard to pass by." Agni explained.

Ren looked at Mar and frowned. "You only brought me here now. If it weren't for the double date, I might not be able to see this place."

"Sorry love, but it's quite dangerous if I bring you here with me. It's only possible because Agni is here too. We can at least defend both of you if some wild beast came to attack."

"Oh, i see. I understand. Let's prepare the food then." Ren said, smiling.

Ivy took the hide blanket and placed it on the grass. While Ren took out the food from the basket they brought and placed it on the blanket.

They ate and talked about some funny things. All of them sure are enjoying this double date for sure.
