Misunderstanding

Noah picked up a nice purple flower and put it in Ren's ear, and smiled at her. "Are you ready to go?"

She smiled back at him, "I am."

Noah went to her back and hugged her.

Ren flinched, and Noah noticed immediately. "I'm sorry, but I need to do this so I can carry you while flying. I don't want to carry you using my feet or should I say my claw. I don't want to hurt you, so I am doing this."

"How can you fly if you do this? Aren't you going to transform into a big bird?"

Noah laughed. "I'm not just a bird, I'm an eagle beast, mind you. And I can also just bring out my wings and fly. We don't necessarily need to transform fully into an eagle beast. And I know this would be more comfortable for you."

But honestly speaking, he just wanted the opportunity to hug and enjoy the flight with Ren.

"Oh, okay then. If you say so." Ren replied.

They started flying up into the air and out of the cave.

Meanwhile, at the top of the mountain where Mar and the others are gathering, readying themselves to attack the Eagle beast clan.

"Does anyone of you know where we can find the village of those bird beasts?" Mar said furiously.

Bon, who is holding the feather, replied. "Based on the color and smell of this feather, it belongs to those eagle bird beasts. Their village is in the east of this place, that highest mountain cave."

"Everyone, prepare yourselves. We will attack their village and bring Ren back." Mar commanded.

Everyone is ready to leave when they feel a strong wind coming rush toward them. Ren, who is with Noah shouts something they couldn't understand.

Mar thinks that Ren is in danger, changes into his beast form, and jumps up the tallest tree to reach the flying bird beast that holds Ren.

Noah, who felt the bloodthirst coming from Mar, fly higher so he can't reach them.

"What are you doing? That's my mate. Bring me to him." Ren said, confused.

"I know he's your mate but he is going to attack me midair if I didn't fly higher," Noah replied.

Ren now noticed what Noah is talking about. She can see clearly that Mar is very furious and his fangs are enough evidence for that.

Mar came down and transformed into his human form. "Give me back my mate, you bastard bird brain. How dare you steal her from me. I am going to make sure you and your village suffer for doing this to us."

Ren answered, "Mar, please don't be angry. He only comes here to bring me back. Let us land and I will explain everything to you."

Mar can't calm down. Seeing that the bird is hugging his mate. He is losing his mind. All he wanted to do is rip that bird's head off.

Mar pointed at Noah, "bring me my mate or there will be bloodshed here."

Noah with a serious face answered, "I will, only if you stop your eagerness to kill me."

"It seems to me that you don't take me seriously. Is it because most of the beast villages are afraid of your kind?"

"That is not what I mean. I only want you to calm down." Noah replied.

"Let me tell you this bird brain. Some beasts may be scared by your kind, but we the tiger beast are not. We are willing to wage war against your kind if it means you won't be doing this kind of thing to us, especially kidnapping our mate."

Ren can see that Mar is so furious that he won't be listening to any words he hears.
