CHAPTER 74 Her Ghost

Roger appeared to be running towards a car parked behind a tall tree. He held a bouquet of white roses labeled "my dear, Laura." Of course, the order came from Gerardo, who was waiting in the car because he hadn't come home last night and instead waited near Laura's house to accompany his family to the funeral this morning.

Gerardo opened his eyes when he heard a knock on the car window. He immediately opened the car window and asked Roger to come in.

  "Come in,"

The car door opened, and the stocky man entered and sat next to Gerardo.

"Good morning, Mr. Gerardo. I apologize for being late because the roads are extremely congested. I brought you white roses, as you requested,” said Roger. The man handed Gerardo a bouquet of white roses.

"Thank you, I can always count on you. I've become a fool to go to a funeral without even a single flower," Gerardo said, nodding. “It's extremely difficult for me to lose someone I used to adore."
