Gerardo's dreams are still influenced by the shadow of Roger. That glum expression drew Livanna's attention; she was worried about Gerardo. Livanna also asked Gerardo to pull over to the side of the road.
"Gerardo, are you sure you're okay? I don't mean to be rude, but your face appears depressed and anxious. I offer you to get out of the way first if something bothers you," Livanna said worriedly.
"Don't worry, I haven't had a bad time," Gerardo said, shaking his head.
"I was concerned, but if you really feel nothing, that's fine. If I may ask, what's on your mind right now that has caused you to cancel our trip to the lake?” Livanna inquired. Gerardo canceled their trip to the lake because, in the middle of the journey, he decided to return to the apartment. Roger's hideous face, in fact, overshadowed this one man.
Gerardo was still haunted by the memory of Roger. He didn't want to irritate Livanna too much with his agitation. Gerardo shook his head again.
