The rain was getting heavier, and it seemed as though the sky may have broken apart with the weight of all the water that was pouring down from the sky that afternoon. Livanna was surprised to see that it was only three o'clock in the afternoon when she checked the time on her cell phone, which she kept in the pocket of her pants. Due to the fact that it was so dark and frightening, it appeared to be eight o'clock at night already.
"Unfortunately, the charge on my battery is beginning to fade as well." Livanna whispered to herself, "It may be horrible if I don't call my mom immediately, maybe I should simply let her know that I'm out with Gerardo for the next few days."
After that, Livanna went into the living room, where she found Gerardo laying in a very long wooden chair. Gerardo's face, which had before been bluish, suddenly appeared white again, and he gave the appearance of closing his eyes.
