　　“So you learnt to dance too?” Niya asks finally, trying to catch up with Chase.


　　“Yes, we all had too but I am not that good. Juno is the best among us.”


　　The mention of his name breaks the spell at once. “Who are you taking as your partner tomorrow? Someone from the tribe?” She asks instead.


　　“Maybe.” he answers nonchalantly. So much pride! No matter what, he will not ask her to dance even if she feels that he wants to.


　　“Juno asked me.” She answers swiftly in hopes of seeing some reaction. His face splits into a smile but it doesn’t reach his eyes. He twirls her once followed by a tug that ends up with their bodies touching.


　　“He is the best choice. You will have...”


　　“I haven’t said yes.” Niya interrupts savoring the feel of his solid frame against her body. “I told him that I will reply in the morning,” she says, hoping he will take the cue.
