　　The Binding ceremony is to be done in separate tents and they can’t see each other until the work is completed. Sitting inside her tent Niya is nervously playing with her bracelet when a she-wolf slides her tent flap and enters with one of the tray. Niya can tell that she is not a native folk by the shape of her eyes stretched at the corners and her dark skin tone. Her curly hair is tied back by a beaded string and there is a tattoo on her right shoulder resembling a dragon. Niya remembers that the one who accompanied her earlier and now probably in Chase’s tent is her twin sister.  Her nimble fingers remove the linens to expose the needles of every shape cleaned and ready to prick her skin.
