This is the moment Chase was desperate to avoid. He knows his brothers carry a great deal of resentment for him because of this power play. At least Remy does, Juno has never voiced anything against the idea of Chasing wearing the crown. Of course he has Niya now with him to calm him down but the truth is truth and is bitter as always. He keeps himself busy with training and patrolling the boundary, collecting information about the threat still unknown to them and supporting his distraught mother who still blames herself for the death. At least at night he has some solace laying his head on Niya’s lap. He hopes to avoid the question of the throne as long as he can.
