Kane was a young prince in the Brunhilde empire. When his father's trusted general usurped the throne, he was sacrificed to the dao of space to buy time for his father and elder brother's escape.
 
The earth had gained sentience and became self-sufficient. it now roams the universe in search of other planets to devour.

With Kane's unique mutation, he converts all his suffering and pain into power. 

On a planet constantly evolving Kane embarks on a quest to amass strength and settle scores. Even gods will not be able to save themselves from his wrath.

Haytham was not too surprised by the answer. It was not what he was expecting, but Kane still had a valid point. To him who was in tier 8 of the evolved realm, this was only a battle between two people in the lower tiers of the mutant realm. To him, it was beyond boring especially if the winner was obvious.

To those involved and even others who were watching, it was a major battle that would change the outlook of their lives to a large extent. He now knew why Kane and Qusay were so adamant about fighting.

He nodded and looked intently at Kane, "fair enough. But be aware that I would immediately stop the match when I feel like you are about to lose. I will not wait until the last moment to step in and save you" said Haytham.

"The examination will end tomorrow and after your fight, some important announcements would be made and the other contestants will also be present. I don't want you to be all banged up when it's time, do you understand?" asked Haytham.
