An uprising between the Mafia clans of Gwangju resulted in immigrations and separations, with several clans bonding together and several dying out. Two of the major clans remained; Yeom and Jang, along with several other minor clans that decided to lay low. 
While the two major clans also laid low for the longest times, their conflicts brought them back on surface. The Yeom family struggled to stay on their feet and went to look out for a powerful family to form an alliance with. 

Kim Haneul was the victim of alliance, a Pediatrician and the only daughter of the respected Kim family. On the surface, the Kim family was asked for Haneul's hand in marriage by the CEO of Gearhead Game Studios, Yeom Tae. 

Not knowing the real identity and past behind Yeom Tae, Haneul got wed into the Mafia's family. The honest Yeom Tae, however, revealed his true identity to his newly wed wife right away and her reaction put him in a spot he had never imagined for a dazzling and charming man such as himself. 

How will he ever be able to progress in his romantic life after a death sentence such as that?

"Spicy details, now!" Haru commanded.

The two kids looked at each other and giggled.

"Yeah okay, lovebirds." Haru pouted. "I'll take that as a 'we have gotten back together, thank you for your consideration and motivation.', yeah kids, you're welcome."

"Exactly what we wanted to say." Youngjae nodded. Yuna nodded alongside him.

Just then, Youngjae's phone started to ring. He pulled it out of his pocket and hummed in surprise.

"Yeom Tae Hyung." Youngjae murmured and picked the call up.

Both Haru and Yuna looked at him in anticipation.

"Hello? Yeom Tae Hyung?" Youngjae murmured through the phone.

"Hey, is Haneul with you?" Yeom Tae asked through the phone, almost out of breath.

Youngjae put the phone away from his ear for a second, "Noona, when did you last see Haneul Noona?" He asked.

"She was supposed to get off work by 7." Haru shrugged as she replied.
