' may i be blessed, amen ' as Reya walked in she joined both her hands praying earnestly.

tok,tok knocking on doctor Jo's office Reya found the door not fully closed, " huh " entering inside she found no one " hello doctor Jo , hello Sir ..."

" it seems he's not here yet .." Reya didn't mind as she already sat down at the chair in front of the desk.

few minutes later doctor Jo arrived he even feels different than last time they talked

" miss Reya must be curious about the job, well it's time to explain to you what you'll be doing" as he made his way to the desk doctor Jo placed a set of papers in front of her.

"... how to say it, ahem, do you believe in parallel worlds? or time travel ? what i'll be saying next might sound fantastic to you but you should believe in it .."

" to tell the truth i don't believe in parallel worlds like how can i exist in many other worlds... my mind can't process this idea as for time travel wouldn't that be great if it became reality?! wasn't there many attempts to build a time machine before, beside if science advanced to that extent it'd be great traveling to the future rather than returning to the past ... " Reya wasn't someone to be open talking to strangers however by trapping herself in this situation just for money she realised that life can also be short as it seemed to be long. so why care about other people's assumptions about her, why worry about every word she utters?! wasn't there many people speaking their minds without caring about her own feelings?! that's why from the moment she signed the contract she was already adamant to change herself as well as her life, even if it means taking the wrong decision.

" miss Reya must have watched plenty of sci-fi movies to think like this, but i'm afraid my words will disappoint you, because time travel is just like a myth even with advanced technologies it might take centuries for humans to turn the time travel theory into reality this if not staying a theory forever,..." he checked the papers in front of him before continuing

" however the concept of parallel worlds is different than what you think, a parallel world could be more realistic than time travel.. we only need a bridge to connect us with it .."

" Woah.. are you one of those scientists who mostly end up crazy just like in movies.!" the mocking in her voice was so obvious yet doctor Jo didn't care about it

" I think you misunderstood what i mean, when I say parallel worlds i don't mean there's another us there but a complete different world than us a place that might be a hell or heaven for us humans .. ahem, also i'm nothing similar to those crazy scientists i'm a neurologist."

" mind if i ask about your age? " Reya's curiosity made it's appearance again with her questions she wasn't embarrassed till he answered her

" I'm twenty five "

' WAAAA ... same age, am i even have a chance to change my life when meeting people of same age already achieved great things in their lives, cry in silence , I shouldn't compare myself to others... but i can't stop it sob..' Reya's thoughts were in contrast with her expressions and words, as she smiled with that serene face of hers.

" glad he's not an old classmate of mine or i'd make a hole in the floor to burry myself out of being embarrassed .. hic.. " doctor Jo didn't hear her clearly as she was talking in a quiet voice

" what did you say?"

" haha... nothing bad ..just you must be genius to be able to achieve things at such a young age "

" haha stop the flattery. the project you'll be part of is related to what i explained minutes ago "

" you mean such things did really exist "the bewilderment didn't leave her eyes as she wasn't sure if what she heard was true or not

interrupting him Reya excitedly shouted;

" in other words my job is to travel to another parallel world??!!"

" .. you can say that but before that you need to know some important information. remember what i will say from now on. firstly this is an important experiment if you successfully completed it you'll be the hero here that means you'll not worry about living a luxurious lazy life once you return back from it. second the success rate of this experiment is low, beside it's more risky when we don't have time to do an overall check to your body, but don't worry about this because this is the main reason I'm here. lastly the world you'll travel to is similar to our world except that they're much more advanced than us in term of technology " doctor Jo threw Reya a quick looks from time to time as he observed her little reactions, the later's face went from excited to happy then it dropped down but she felt better after hearing the last part of what doctor Jo's said.

" so how much time it'll take for me to finish the task and?.. how will i get there!?... what will i have to do once i open my eyes there ?!.." Reya's mind was full of questions.

" that i myself not sure about it but if it was me i would just enjoy my life to the fullest ... far from reality..." from his tone of voice you can tell how tired of life was he.

" ahem well your task is collecting data,... in regards to the method you'll use to travel it's like this ..." as doctor Jo's words entered her ears her head throbbed from pain as she touched the end of her neck the sticky fresh blood warmed her cold hand before she lost consciousness.
