Chapter 34: Tying the knot

Serena's p.o.v

"Damian, I give you this ring as a token of my constant faith and abiding love," I said my vows and upsert the ring on Damian's ring finger.

"You may now kiss the bride," the priest let out. Damian sweeps me off my feet and presses his lips to mine for the first kiss of the rest of our lives.

Applauds came from the crowd. I laughed and broke away from him slowly. I turned around and looked at the crowd. It was the perfect night for me and I was glad to spot friendly faces in the crowd.

My eyes met with Sofia's, as expected she was fuming mad. Leah had wrapped a comforting arm around her but I doubted the hand was doing much to help her broken heart.

The girl had asked for it. Had she not come here today to ruin my date, I doubt that I would be a married woman by now.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife," the priest announced.
