Serena Delarosa had lived her life oblivious to the enemies that she called her friends. Until the day that died that her eyes were finally opened. 

Getting a second chance and being reborn five years before her death, she vowed vengeance on all that had wronged her. She was never going to let herself be hurt again.

"I don't want to talk to you," Maya claimed. "I have proven on more than one occasion that I am your friend. And you haven't returned the favor. So forgive me if I don't want to hear from you."

Serena backed away respecting Maya's wishes. Lia wrapped an arm around her and flashed her a smile.

"Jax, I would like to have a word with you?" Maya requested.

She waited for Serena and the new girl to leave, however, they remained put and didn't move an inch. She was irritated.

Serena sighed. She hauled Lia away with her to give the two some privacy. It was the least that she could do for being a jerk toward Maya.

It wasn't her intention. Still, she caused harm to someone that she loved and it wasn't right.

She strolled over to her locker and unlocked it. She removed the books that she needed to study for the upcoming exam. Once that was done, she stood by the locker and leaned her head back on the locker.
